Curle Contracting Ltd is a small family-owned business based in Springfield 60 KM’s west of Christchurch. We are a very diverse company that prides itself on providing a supportive and enjoyable work environment.

Our work is varied and interesting. It includes rural excavating, work for Ecan and Council, DOC, forestry and civil work. Rewarding work, which can be anywhere from Arthurs Pass to Christchurch and supported by competitive pay packages. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

CIVIL LABOURER

​

Due to an increase in our work, we are looking for general and skilled labourer in civil construction, to work in drainage, construction, roading, and all things rural excavation earth works. 

Curle Contracting Ltd is a family owned excavating business based in Springfield 60 KM’s west of Christchurch.  Our work is varied and interesting. The work can be anywhere from Arthurs Pass to Christchurch, and at times the wider South Island.

All our equipment is modern and well maintained.

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, reliable, hardworking labourer who is able to work independently as well as part of a team.

We can offer you:

  • A good hourly rate

  • 40-50 hours per week Monday to Friday

  • Immediate start or flexible for the right person

  • A supportive team

It would be beneficial if the successful applicant has the following attributes:

  • A current full drivers licence

  •  Be keen to be involved in a number of different projects

  • Some building experience (an advantage)

  • Laying new water mains experience (an advantage)

  • Have fantastic people and communication skills

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug & criminal test​

EXCAVATOR OPERATOR

 

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, reliable, hardworking individual who is able to work independently as well as part of a team. 

​

It would be beneficial if the successful applicant has the following attributes:

 

·     Experience operating a range of excavators from 1.7 – 20 Tonne

·     Class 2 driver's licence minimum and W,T,R endorsements

·     Experience working on 3 waters projects 

·     Level 3 or 4 Water Reticulation Qualification or similar qualification (or be studying towards qualification) preferred

·     Be keen to be involved in several different projects

·     STMS or TC an advantage but not essential

·     Have fantastic people and communication skills

In return, the successful applicant will be offered a good hourly wage depending on experience and a vehicle for work purposes.
